Ministry of Digital Economy Standards (MoDEE) in Jordan

Musaed tool for providing accessibility and usability for individuals with disabilities complies with the Jordanian standards issued by the Ministry of Digital Economy in 2019. The regulation, titled "Government Websites Accessibility Standards”,  requires the fulfillment of two key conditions to achieve accessibility:

  1. “The availability of a clear and persistent accessibility toolbar on all pages of the website.”

This is the primary function of using "Musaed" within a website, as it provides a fixed icon on the side of the page that contains all accessibility features.

  1. “The accessibility toolbar must include at least three features:
    • Font size control, where each increment or decrement adjusts the font size by 1-2 pixels.
    • Color blindness adjustments.
    • A text-to-speech feature that provides an audio alternative for all text content on the website.”

Musaed includes all of these features and goes beyond, offering additional options tailored to individuals with various disabilities and needs.
